Master It

Master It

I met a 5 year old little boy who was working on an assignment. He was cutting out the pictures on his worksheet with accuracy. I commented on how well he was cutting on the lines. He did not bat an eye and quickly quipped, “I know, I am a Master Cutter!” I was astonished by his wording and confidence. This is the kind of confidence The Master wants us to have in the abilities He has given us. His response was not arrogant but authentic. He knew what he did well and he wasn’t afraid to admit it.

Are you afraid to admit where you are advanced? The other children at his table were struggling but he did not let that stop him. He didnt pretend he wasnt as good as he was to fit in. His leadership modeled another level they could attain.

We can master what we put our minds to with passion, practice and persistence. I believe we are each called to master our gifts with swag and confidence.

Its time to cut away doubt and stay your course . Cut away mediocrity and stay on the road of excellence. Cut away the fear to label your skills at the correct level. Just cut it out! Think Right About You
